Berger
Ronald Berger was born in Salzburg to a highly artistic family in 1943, Austria. His relatives were prominent in all fields of the Arts from Theatre to painting and it was these influences that allowed Ronald to develop his talents very naturally from an early age.
After completing an academic degree, Ronald began to study painting full-time under the tuition of Professor Knapp and Professor Steiner. It was during this period that Ronald also began to travel widely throughout Europe, visiting all the major artistic and cultural centres of achievement. By studying the inherent traditions from the Dutch still –life masters to the Italian Renaissance, Ronald Berger fine-tuned his academic methods and created a sophisticated pool of creative inspiration.
On Ronald’s return to Austria he was quickly invited to stage his first major exhibition in Vienna, more opportunities soon followed from its success and soon Berger was exhibiting across Europe and the UK. Ronald Berger’s faithful recreation of the Dutch Old Master painters, continues to build a strong foundation of international collectors.
