C Daurea

Giovanni Daurea was born in 1955 in Caltanisetta, a small town in the heart of Sicily.
When he was 18 years old he moved to Roma, where he could study with the great masters such as Giovanni Omiccioli, Santas Monachesi, & Renzo Vespignani. After 5 years living in Roma, Daurea decided to move to the south of France and from there to Paris. It is in this city where he exhibited his first works having a great success among art dealers and collectors
As a great lover of the trips, during the following 10 years he lived in different countries like Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Germany. In all these countries, his works were very well accepted, celebrating different collective exhibitions.
He transmits in each canvas the magic colours and brightness of his original Sicily, which is the inspiration for many of his works.
