John Haskins
John Haskins was born in Bermondsey, London in 1938. He trained at Art College and then joined industry as an illustrator, producing artwork for the BBC, DeHavilland Co., Hawker Siddeley Dynamics, and numerous government scientific and technical publications in the U.K. and overseas, including U.S. space research. Eventually John became chief illustrator for a publishing company.
Now married with two children he is occupied full time in painting, mostly landscapes. Examples of his work are in many private collections worldwide, including those of Mr. Garfield Weston, band leader Benny Goodman, actors Jack Palance and Sylvester Stallone, and in the Ghanaian Embassy, London.
Exhibitions include one-man shows in Florida, California, Pennsylvania and Melbourne, Australia.
