Gerhard Neswadba

Gerhard Nesvadba was born in 1941 in Ober-Ramstadt, West Germany. He possesses a masterful domination of form; a well developed feeling for harmonious colours and has a perfect command of the basics of the trade. His originals are characteristic collectors items. Today he is among the top group of the most re-produced artists.

Gerhard typically paints very vibrant French and Italian landscapes, which all show great movement and sensitivity.

Over the years he has become very prominent in Germany and Austria. He has exhibited in Hamm, Vienna, Berlin, Paris and New York and his work is now much sought after and appears in many eminent public and private European collections.

He now works from his Country Estate in the picturesque Austrian mountains above Salzburg.
