Alex Sanderson specialises in automotive photography, specifically from Goodwood Motor Circuit which is local to both Alex and Forest Gallery.
Alex has been taking photographs for nearly forty years, having started as a teenager with a Pentax K1000. Today he uses a Nikon D700 and Leica-M for the majority of his work.
Whilst the focus of his photography has principally been automotive, Alex’s portfolio has also extended into landscape, travel and flora photography to a lesser extent. Alex has lived extensively overseas which has helped shape his perspective on the world and subsequently his approach to photography.
Alex Sanderson has a passion for motorsports which has driven his interest in automotive photography. In the 1980’s this manifested itself in photographing motor rallying in Kielder and the English/Scottish borders. Over the last twenty years this has developed to encompass photographing classic and vintage cars, much based around the motor events at Goodwood.
Aside from the traditional journalistic style of photographing cars, Alex has sought to develop a more abstract style based principally around the use of light and colour to highlight their design shape and form. From this was born this striking series of images named ‘The Art of the Car’.

Delivery times are an estimate and we will keep you informed if this delivery window is likely to be exceeded.
You will receive confirmation of your order and a tracking details once delivery has been booked. If you wish to receive your artwork on a certain day, please specify this in the order notes when checking out.
Please note that some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are therefore excluded from the free delivery offer. In such instances we will contact you prior to arranging delivery and you will have the option to confirm your order. Saturday delivery and express delivery is available for a small charge of £25 – please contact us to arrange this. Professional installation may be offered by quotation to some areas of the UK as well as same day express delivery. Please contact us to arrange these alternative options.

We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country.
