Alfredo Navarro was born on the eastern coast of Spain in the city of Alcoy (Alicante) in 1965. Initially inspired by his father, Navarro attended the art school of Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes at a young age. He continued his education in Valencia where he received a degree in economics at the Valencia University as well as an art degree from Circulo de Bellas Artes.

He then returned to Alcoy to paint and apprentice under the painter/teacher Selles. Also a painter, Navarro’s father taught his son the techniques of oil painting. At age 19, Navarro began painting professionally and in 1986 received first place in an art exhibition sponsored by the Government Delegate of Galicia in Spain.

Navarro considers his technique somewhere between Realism and Hyperrealism. His studies provided an admiration for the artists Velazquez, Picasso and Greco. Navarro respects Velazquez for the artist’s ability to capture the soul of a person in a portrait and the colours and atmosphere used to create the paintings. Picasso and Greco are admired for their bold creativity and expressive colours.

UK DELIVERY
Free insured delivery via courier on all orders over £250, typically within 5 working days. If framing is required please allow 10–14 days. You will receive order confirmation and tracking details once booked — if you need delivery on a specific day please note this at checkout.

Some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are excluded from the free delivery offer; we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Express delivery and professional installation are available in some areas — please get in touch to arrange. Please note that all dimensions are approximate and rounded to the nearest inch.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country. Alternatively please get in touch for a quotation prior to purchase.

RETURNS
For your peace of mind, we offer an extended 30 day returns option for any online purchase. We suggest you retain the original packaging if you are considering this option as we reserve the right to deduct any damage which occurs during return transit. Once we have received the return it will be checked and a refund will be issued less the return postage costs.

For those living close to our galleries we offer a Home Viewing Service – this is available within a 10–15 mile radius – please get in touch with us to confirm availability.

Alternatively, and for those further afield, we offer a Home Approval Service which allows you to borrow an artwork for up to 7 days. To take advantage of either of these services please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

REGULAR PAYMENT OPTIONS
Online checkout allow payments via a credit or debit card (including Amex) or bank transfer. There are express checkout options via Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

INTEREST FREE FINANCE
