Jósef Balter was born in Hungary in 1986 and grew up in a very rural setting on the Bakony Mountains. “The forests and fields of this beautiful landscape were already a great inspiration for me in my childhood.” The admiration of nature and the passion for creation made Jósef Balter want to dedicate his life to art. After finishing school, he studied art in Budapest and Györ.
As an expression of his art, only naturalism comes into question for Balter in order to depict the beauty of nature and its creatures. His expressive depictions of animals are an advertisement for nature and are intended to call for cooperation against destruction. In doing so, Balter wants to gently point this out without being fanatical.
