Antonio Garcia Soler (also known as Joan Puerto) was born on the eastern coast of Spain in Alcoy, Alicante in 1957 into an artistic family. From a young age Soler pursued a career in art by attending the art school Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes, where his father was a teacher. He...

Antonio Garcia Soler (also known as Joan Puerto) was born on the eastern coast of Spain in Alcoy, Alicante in 1957 into an artistic family. From a young age Soler pursued a career in art by attending the art school Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes, where his father was a teacher. He continued his education at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios at the Universidad de Valencia where he earned his art degree. 

Inheriting his father’s artistic passion, Antonio Soler became mesmerised with the Mediterranean Sea, having lived close by the water for all his life. Soler has honed his realism technique over a long career, enjoying worthy praise along the way for his masterful seascapes. 

Soler aims to capture the power and movement of the ocean in his work. Using the boundless and changing effects of light on water, the artist paints dynamic scenes full of colour and movement. With inspiration close to home on the east coast of Spain, Soler can often be found along the beach sketching a taking reference photographs.

His award-winning works are featured in many individual and collective exhibits throughout Europe and the Americas and Forest Gallery are proud to showcase the artist’s breath-taking largescale original works.

UK DELIVERY
Free insured delivery via courier on all orders over £250, typically within 5 working days. If framing is required please allow 10–14 days. You will receive order confirmation and tracking details once booked — if you need delivery on a specific day please note this at checkout.

Some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are excluded from the free delivery offer; we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Express delivery and professional installation are available in some areas — please get in touch to arrange. Please note that all dimensions are approximate and rounded to the nearest inch.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country. Alternatively please get in touch for a quotation prior to purchase.

RETURNS
For your peace of mind, we offer an extended 30 day returns option for any online purchase. We suggest you retain the original packaging if you are considering this option as we reserve the right to deduct any damage which occurs during return transit. Once we have received the return it will be checked and a refund will be issued less the return postage costs.

Home Viewing Options +

For those living close to our galleries we offer a Home Viewing Service – this is available within a 10–15 mile radius – please get in touch with us to confirm availability.

Alternatively, and for those further afield, we offer a Home Approval Service which allows you to borrow an artwork for up to 7 days. To take advantage of either of these services please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
