Dietmar Wölfl trained as an interior designer in his parent’s business from 1970 to 1973 whilst painting on the side. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1974 to 1978 and in 1985, he had moved to Munich to work as an independent artist and give him a good basis for his active artistic development. He was mentored by prominent artist Robert Zielasco, who significantly influenced his painting style, making it what it is today. In turn, Dietmar has now become the teacher and offers courses at well-known academies and workshops in his large studio at home, a converted farm in Bavaria.

Dietmar Wölfl’s art is one-of-a-kind. He has managed to establish his technique and dynamics as unique to him, something every artist strives for. His motto, “I reach for the colours until the unexpected occurs,” describes his modesty when speaking about his work, but it is not all there is to his finished pieces.

Dietmar Wolfl’s bold mark making and a keen skill for carefully considered compositions give his paintings strong appeal amongst both new and experienced collectors. The artist has gained a large audience with his contemporary art including the likes of Damien Hirst who is himself a collector of Dietmar’s work.

UK DELIVERY
Free insured delivery via courier on all orders over £250, typically within 5 working days. If framing is required please allow 10–14 days. You will receive order confirmation and tracking details once booked — if you need delivery on a specific day please note this at checkout.

Some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are excluded from the free delivery offer; we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Express delivery and professional installation are available in some areas — please get in touch to arrange. Please note that all dimensions are approximate and rounded to the nearest inch.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country. Alternatively please get in touch for a quotation prior to purchase.

RETURNS
For your peace of mind, we offer an extended 30 day returns option for any online purchase. We suggest you retain the original packaging if you are considering this option as we reserve the right to deduct any damage which occurs during return transit. Once we have received the return it will be checked and a refund will be issued less the return postage costs.

For those living close to our galleries we offer a Home Viewing Service – this is available within a 10–15 mile radius – please get in touch with us to confirm availability.

Alternatively, and for those further afield, we offer a Home Approval Service which allows you to borrow an artwork for up to 7 days. To take advantage of either of these services please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

REGULAR PAYMENT OPTIONS
Online checkout allow payments via a credit or debit card (including Amex) or bank transfer. There are express checkout options via Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

INTEREST FREE FINANCE
