Louise Schofield was born and raised in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, where she enjoyed a childhood filled with many adventures in the countryside and coastal areas. Louise would spend many hours walking through woodlands, watching the wildlife, playing in the streams and long sunny days at the coast exploring the rock pool and caves. It’s no surprise that her passion for nature is translated in her artwork.
Louise Schofield began her art career in 1991. After leaving Art College at the age of 20, she had a small craft stall in her local shopping centre from where she began selling her artwork. Here she would gain a captive audience whilst painting pets and wildlife. After a shift in focus when her daughter was born in 2001 Louise now works from her home studio.
Working in various art mediums Louise has recently discovered alcohol ink which has captured both her imagination and that of her customers and clients.
“Alcohol ink is a fluid art medium that basically has a mind of its own, I fell in love with it as soon as got my creative hands on it, not very poetic but true. Its free flowing nature and vibrant colours are a perfect combination, allowing me to create the most spectacular and eye catching pieces of artwork that will brighten up any house or office. I love art that makes you happy and can bring a smile on even the dullest of days, lets face it, in England were used to dull days. My work is fuelled with positivity, joy and love and my is aim is that you can feel that emotion in the pieces I create”.

Free insured delivery via courier on all orders over £250, typically within 5 working days. If framing is required please allow 10–14 days. You will receive order confirmation and tracking details once booked — if you need delivery on a specific day please note this at checkout.
Some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are excluded from the free delivery offer; we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Express delivery and professional installation are available in some areas — please get in touch to arrange. Please note that all dimensions are approximate and rounded to the nearest inch.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country. Alternatively please get in touch for a quotation prior to purchase.
RETURNS
For your peace of mind, we offer an extended 30 day returns option for any online purchase. We suggest you retain the original packaging if you are considering this option as we reserve the right to deduct any damage which occurs during return transit. Once we have received the return it will be checked and a refund will be issued less the return postage costs.
For those living close to our galleries we offer a Home Viewing Service – this is available within a 10–15 mile radius – please get in touch with us to confirm availability.
Alternatively, and for those further afield, we offer a Home Approval Service which allows you to borrow an artwork for up to 7 days. To take advantage of either of these services please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
REGULAR PAYMENT OPTIONS
Online checkout allow payments via a credit or debit card (including Amex) or bank transfer. There are express checkout options via Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
INTEREST FREE FINANCE
We are partnered with Own Art, a government-backed scheme to help you spread the cost of your purchase, interest free on purchases over £250.
