These miniature hares are sculpted by Michael Simpson for the Butler & Peach Collection and are cast in pure foundry bronze. This sculpture weighs 40g with dimensions Height: 7cm x Width: 5cm x Depth: 2.5cm.
The design finished by the art of patination where various acids are applied to the surface of the bronze and heat applied to create a deep rich brown patina. The bronze is then sealed with a special wax which further enhances the colour and protects the bronze for years to come.
They are presented in a printed box and soft pouch with a collector’s leaflet detailing the full collection. Sculpture code 2012.
