- 1. Open the Art Visualiser App and select the 'Scan QR' option to scan the QR code to the left of these instructions
- 2. When prompted, press 'Visualise On Wall' and aim your phone at your floor while it calibrates*. A graphic will appear to help scale and position the artwork. You need to ensure this is correctly aligned to where the base of the wall meets the floor
- 3. Once situated, press 'Pin Here' to lock it into place and the painting will appear on your wall! You can adjust the positioning of the painting using the touch screen and even view it from different angles or close up by moving around the room

Commission Sean Durkin
Sean Durkin’s second solo exhibition ‘Artem Fur’ was a sell-out success in 2022. The demand for Sean’s artwork is growing rapidly and so we recommend getting in touch with us with your requirements. Full of irony and narrative, Sean Durkin’s work is simultaneously playful and powerful. Now an acclaimed artist with a loyal following, Sean’s path to becoming an artist is quite the tale, further adding to the impact of his work.
In 1972, his father, John Durkin, stole and held ransom a Lowry painting of Middlesbrough Town Hall and Saint Hilda’s Church from the local art gallery. In exchange for the painting’s safe return, he demanded that the Lord Mayor raffle his underpants for charity and that the gallery be installed with a better alarm system as well as be opened on Sundays “to allow the working man to get some culture”.
Only a boy of eight at the time, Sean Durkin recalls coming downstairs the following morning to find the stolen painting on the mantelpiece. He was fascinated by the atmosphere of the painting and the ‘matchstick’ people as they scurried around the scene. He did not realise it at the time, but the painting would have a profound effect on his life, and ultimately inspire him to become an artist himself.
Forest Gallery is honoured to be the key representing gallery in the UK for Sean Durkin, holding the artist’s first solo show in 2021 and the successive exhibition “Artem Fur” in 2022.

UK DELIVERY
Free insured delivery via courier is available for all purchases over £250. We aim to deliver artworks within 5 working days unless framing is required (in which case 10-14 days). If your order is urgent please specify this and we will endeavour to meet your requirements. Delivery times are an estimate and we will keep you informed if this delivery window is likely to be exceeded.
You will receive confirmation of your order and tracking details once delivery has been booked. If you wish to receive your artwork on a certain day, please specify this in the order notes when checking out.
Please note that some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are therefore excluded from the free delivery offer. In such instances we will contact you prior to arranging delivery and you will have the option to confirm your order. Saturday delivery and express delivery is available for a small charge of £25 – please contact us to arrange this. Professional installation may be offered by quotation to some areas of the UK as well as same day express delivery. Please contact us to arrange these alternative options.

We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country. RETURNS
For your peace of mind, we offer an extended 30 day returns option for any online purchase. We suggest you retain the original packaging if you are considering this option as we reserve the right to deduct any damage which occurs during return transit. Once we have received the return it will be checked and a refund will be issued less the return postage costs.

If you are experiencing any technical difficulties or do not have access to the Art Visualiser app then email a photograph of the space and wall where you would like to see the artwork and we will do the rest. If you can include some dimensions as a reference point it will help to scale the painting correctly against your wall.
