Simon Wright is a contemporary British cityscape artist whose vibrant paintings capture the energy, movement and atmosphere of urban life. After graduating, he began his career in commercial illustration before gradually transitioning into fine art, where he could explore a more expressive and personal style.

Working primarily in oils and acrylics, he builds up richly textured surfaces using layers of impasto and expressive mark-making.
