David Alderman Townscape Paintings

David Alderman Townscape Paintings

David Alderman attended Salford School of Art in the mid1960s before embarking on a successful design career. David’s intricate and detailed sketchbooks reveal a passion for drawing that stretches back to his student days and form the basis for his paintings created in the studio.

Now living and working in Cheshire, David’s multi-layered paintings capture pastoral scenes of imagined landscapes. The artist’s local environment provides ample inspiration for his jovial and somewhat naïve artwork, with local grazing sheep surrounding much of the countryside.

Forest Gallery are delighted to welcome David and can arrange unique commissions on request.
