Chris Ross Williamson was born in South East London and went on to study Illustration at Barnfield College, Luton. After training as a graphic designer and working in several respectable positions within the design and advertising sector, Chris found the calling of fine art too strong and decided to go full time. Chris Ross Williamson now creates his characterful pieces in his quiet studio in Corton, Suffolk with panoramic views of the sea – something that is often alluded to in his work.

Often described as quirky and whimsical, Chris’ playful work usually involves an atmospheric land or seascape populated with his characters – the gaunt and dry-humoured, ‘Garfield Eldritch’ and his faithful Jack Russell pal, ‘Barton Darcy’. The British east coast landscape and vernacular architecture feature heavily as a backdrop and touches of humour are often evident. Chris says “I like to give people a grin if I can”.

Chris paints on panel using a large palette of oil colours, sometimes mixing metallics (silver, copper or gold) into the paint to bring out the shimmer of the sea.

UK DELIVERY
Free insured delivery via courier on all orders over £250, typically within 5 working days. If framing is required please allow 10–14 days. You will receive order confirmation and tracking details once booked — if you need delivery on a specific day please note this at checkout.

Some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are excluded from the free delivery offer; we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Express delivery and professional installation are available in some areas — please get in touch to arrange. Please note that all dimensions are approximate and rounded to the nearest inch.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country. Alternatively please get in touch for a quotation prior to purchase.

RETURNS
For your peace of mind, we offer an extended 30 day returns option for any online purchase. We suggest you retain the original packaging if you are considering this option as we reserve the right to deduct any damage which occurs during return transit. Once we have received the return it will be checked and a refund will be issued less the return postage costs.

For those living close to our galleries we offer a Home Viewing Service – this is available within a 10–15 mile radius – please get in touch with us to confirm availability.

Alternatively, and for those further afield, we offer a Home Approval Service which allows you to borrow an artwork for up to 7 days. To take advantage of either of these services please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

REGULAR PAYMENT OPTIONS
Online checkout allow payments via a credit or debit card (including Amex) or bank transfer. There are express checkout options via Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

INTEREST FREE FINANCE
