Joe Galindo
Joe Galindo is a British animal artist known for his dynamic, expressive approach to wildlife painting. Born 1994 in Mirfield, West Yorkshire) Galindo showed a natural talent for drawing from a young age, often sketching animals and characters with an instinctive feel for movement and emotion. After university, he balanced a series of traditional 9-to-5 jobs while building a steady stream of commissions, painting everything from family pets to well-known personalities.
At 24, Joe set off to travel, spending time in Vietnam, across Asia, and later in Australia. These years of adventure proved transformative, giving him the freedom to reconnect with his creativity and experiment with new techniques. The vibrant cultures and landscapes he encountered continue to influence his bold colour choices and the energetic compositions he is now recognised for.
Galindo’s mixed-media process is intentionally unconventional. He combines spray paint, acrylics, inks, and an assortment of tools like spoons, rubber pieces, nails, and brushes to build layers of texture and movement. His animals feel alive, bursting with colour and emotion, each piece carrying a sense of raw vitality.
Today, Joe’s work is exhibited widely across the UK, and he continues to grow a dedicated following. Forest Gallery is proud to offer access to his original paintings, limited editions, and exclusive commission opportunities for collectors seeking a personalised artwork by this exciting contemporary artist.
