Hue Folk is an exciting emerging British Urban Pop artist whose work celebrates colour, culture, and creative escapism. Born in 1989, he draws strong inspiration from the pop culture that shaped his generation, blending iconic imagery, cartoons, fashion references, and graphic elements into bold mixed-media artworks that feel both nostalgic and contemporary.
Vibrant colour sits at the heart of Hue Folk’s practice. Each composition is carefully layered, combining striking palettes with instantly recognisable visual motifs to create works that are playful, energetic, and visually arresting. His fascination with colour carries seamlessly across his originals and editions, giving his art a distinctive, uplifting presence.
Working under a pseudonym, Hue Folk chooses to remain largely anonymous. This intentional separation between artist and identity allows collectors to immerse themselves fully in the imaginative world he creates—one that feels adventurous, magical, and unconstrained by everyday reality. The result is art that invites pure visual enjoyment and personal interpretation.
Based in his Milton Keynes studio, Hue Folk has quickly gained momentum within the contemporary art scene. Recent collections including Idol Eyes, Cover Stars, and Pin Ups have all achieved sold-out status, cementing his reputation as an artist to watch. Forest Gallery is delighted to showcase his work and offer exclusive commission opportunities, allowing collectors to own a bespoke piece by this exciting new voice in Urban Pop art.
