Why we love this piece

The tranquil moonlit sky in this piece by Jay Nottingham offers a quiet contrast to the vibrant red kite flitting across it. The subtlety of the scene is brought to life through Jay’s trademark palette knife technique, adding a textured layer that gives depth to the simplicity. This work suits collectors who appreciate the balance of serene ambience with a touch of playful vitality, encapsulating the nuanced drama that Nottingham is renowned for.
