Kev Munday Painted Objects
Kev Munday’s painted objects bring original artwork to an unexpected selection of sporting, gaming and everyday forms. Skateboard decks, bowling pins, porcelain chess pieces, a dartboard and basketball hoop sit alongside larger pieces including a table football game and grandfather clock, creating a playful collection united by recreation and familiar objects.
Working in acrylic, acrylic-based paint markers and mixed media, Munday treats each three-dimensional surface as his canvas. The collection ranges from small decorative pieces to medium skateboard works and extra-large statement objects, offering varied scales while retaining a shared emphasis on painted detail, sculptural form and the character of the original object.
