Kiss Csaba
Kiss Csaba was born in Hungary in 1970 as the son of a renowned mural painter. With art in the family, Kiss took to drawing naturally and soon began to display promise under the instruction of Imre Vinczellér, a close friend of his father and an accomplished artist in his own right. The artist went on to study at the School of Art in Szeged followed by the Academy in Szombathely where he obtained a diploma as Professor of drawing.
Kiss Csaba is drawn to a hyper-realistic style which he finds is best suited to still life scenes. Here he enjoys employing a delicate colour scheme simplified to the subject at hand. By creating a backdrop of simplicity often of muted grey tones, he intends to enchant the viewer whilst inviting a deeper reflection of the painting and composition.
The artist has enjoyed working on various projects with global brands including Coca Cola and Pepsi whilst taking his artwork to ever expanding heights in the form of a sixty-metre-high mural. In 2002 the artist was commissioned to restore murals and frescos in churches around Argentina, with further projects requiring his talents in Bolivia, Uruguay and Brazil.
Forest Gallery are delighted to showcase the remarkable still life paintings of Kiss Csaba. If you have any special requests or would like to commission the artist please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
