Forest Gallery Opening Exhibition
1 December, 2016

1 December, 2016
After months of preparation the time finally arrived to open the doors to our new gallery on 26th November 2016. The classic Forest Gallery wide variety of work was on display at the opening exhibition and the bubbly was flowing! A great new addition to Petworth, the gallery was busy with curious passers-by, invitees and locals who had been awaiting the big unveil with baited breath.
It wasn’t until 3am the morning before the opening that the paintings had been finally hung on the walls and the gallery took shape. Petworth awoke to the bright window display that Forest has been known for, awash with original paintings and sculptures. The Gallery itself, although not large, squeezed everyone in over the course of the weekend and the variety of work was enjoyed by all.
Now open 6 days a week and feeling very at home in the beautiful town of Petworth we are looking forward to more exciting events in the future.
