Suzie Marsh Mice
Suzie Marsh’s characterful mice are captured in small, hand-finished bronze resin sculptures. Presented singly, in pairs and in playful bundles, these compact works show mice curled inside an apple, perched on books and exploring familiar foods such as cheese, pumpkin and corn on the cob. Other designs focus simply on the animals themselves, from a mouse holding its tail to a solitary seated figure. Real natural and everyday objects have been used to cast some of the finely observed settings, including mouse-nibbled cheese and corn. Each sculpture is finished by hand with bronze powder, with subtle variations in colouring and patina giving every mouse its individual character.
