Chasing Rainbows (1270)

61 x 71 x 48 cm

Why we love this piece

A very exclusive series of bronze sculptures which is crafted in an edition of no more than 9 pieces. Each design is engraved with the edition number and have an accompanying certificate of authenticity signed by the sculptor and Richard Cooper. The series is called “Fine Art Sculpture”.

The first design in this exclusive series is “Chasing Rainbows” and depicts two Otters pursuing a Rainbow Trout hiding in the natural follage of the river. Being perfectly adapted to the water with streamlined bodies, dense fur and webbed feet, the Otter uses sensitive whiskers and a keen sense of smell to seek out their favourite food.

This wonderful sculpture has been crafted by Dean Kendrick, a master of natural wildlife design. He has studied the movement of Otters using both skilled photography and film to capture the subtle gyrations of the Otter twisting and turning in the flowing waters.

The sculpture weighs 12kg with dimensions Height: 70cm x Width: 60cm x Depth: 47cm
