Francisco Santana

Francisco Santana was born in Valencia, Spain in 1965. From a very early age the artist felt attracted to the art of painting. Whilst studying at the Fine Arts School in Valencia, Santana developed his love of marinas and quickly honed his talent with a brush in hand. 

Painting in a loose, evocative manner gives Francisco Santana’s paintings a sense of movement that complements his subject matter perfectly. Creating beautiful paintings of moored boats, his depiction of light and water are effortless and conjure a lust for the coast in viewers. By using vibrant colours and a clean palette his paintings are fresh and full of light.
