Why we love this piece

Juan Antonio Domínguez masterfully captures the delicate dance of sunlight and sea in this painting. The way the waves gently kiss the shore brings a serene energy, evoking the warmth of Ibiza’s coast. His background in Spanish artistic traditions is evident in the precision and care taken in every brushstroke. Ideal for collectors who appreciate finely detailed seascapes, this piece showcases his commitment to capturing the understated beauty in everyday scenes.

Juan Antonio’s paintings are meticulously prepared by the artist so that the artworks are protected and set to last for centuries to come. A linen canvas is fixed to a stabilising board before the priming process and underpainting. Built up with layers of oil washes, the finished painting is then varnished and fitted into a bespoke frame made in Spain and hand finished by the artist himself.
