Mario Malfer was born in 1941 in Italy. Following an outstanding talent for drawing, he studied painting at the Academy of Milan and then design in Como.
In his early career, Malfer worked as a successful designer for Italian and American companies but his true calling as a professional artist has occupied him for most of his adult life. He has held many exhibitions in Venice, Rome, Zürich and Milan resulting in much critical acclaim including the Italian Art Award “Premio Arte”.
Malfer is known for his unique style and use of colour to break up geometric forms. Thanks to his artistic flair he creates fascinating semi-abstract compositions of the beautiful Italian landscape.
Mario Malfer is one of Forest Gallery’s long-standing artists and his striking paintings attract many collectors of his work.
