David Henty Pablo Picasso

David Henty’s collection after Pablo Picasso brings together expressive portraits and figure studies in original oils. Painted on canvas or board, these works revisit Picasso’s distinctive approach to the human form, with profile views, mirrored figures and female sitters recurring across the group. The collection ranges from small, intimate paintings to extra-large statement pieces, offering different scales for both focused displays and prominent interiors. Contemporary black frames, black-stained wood mouldings with gold detailing, and ornate gold swept frames complement the varied presentation, while each work retains the direct colour, strong shapes and unconventional viewpoints associated with its subject and source.
