We are delighted to welcome this talented artist from Greece to Forest Gallery. Anna creates beautifully crafted bronze sculptures from her studio in Athens. Using a variety of techniques to achieve the desired result, her art is simultaneously delicate and powerful and at times reminiscent of the work of Alberto Giacometti.
Anna’s early works represented experimental artist applications. The artist combined techniques working with clay, metal, plaster and wood but soon noticed her passion lie in metal scultpures, specifically casting in bronze.
Anna’s work encapsulates the pinnacle of balance and beauty. Using the finest materials and traditional techniques, each sculpture is steeped in artisanal excellence owing to the hand assembly and finishes used in their creation.
Anna Andreadi & Inspiration
Inspired by the human form and nature, the sculptures represent a careful balance of opposing forces that create a powerful and dynamic result. Capturing and combining energy, emotion and unique metal work they are a remarkable art form. As with most art, the sculptures are best admired in person when the detail and finesse can be appreciated.
Operating from her studio in Athens, Anna meticulously crafts each sculpture by hand using cold cast bronze segments. Using a combination of techniques she then adds to the piece to create the desired finish, meaning each sculpture is unique within the edition run.
The sculptures are presented beautifully in a fitted box complete with certificate of authenticity, biography and sculpture card as shown below.
