Michael Simpson Stags

This collection captures the strength, movement and commanding presence of the stag in bronze sculpture. Proud solitary animals stand alert, roar or survey their surroundings, while rutting pairs meet in dynamic displays of power. Detailed modelling defines antlers, muscular forms and characteristic poses, with selected sculptures set against rocky terrain or combining bronze with stainless steel elements. The works include solid foundry bronzes and limited editions, many created using the traditional lost wax casting method. Ranging from delicate miniatures and compact small-scale pieces to substantial statement sculptures, the collection offers varied interpretations of red deer and Highland imagery for display throughout the home.
