Madjid

Madjid

Madjid was born in Teheran in 1943, son to the well known artistic Rahnavadkar family.  Both his grandfather and brother being artists he was keen to follow in their footsteps and so took up painting and sculpting when he was fifteen.

In 1959 he was honoured with the French-Persian prize for his work. Now living in Germany, his colours are bright, his interpretations vivid and his brush strokes powerful.

Today, Madjid’s work can be found in many leading private collections throughout the world.  Forest Gallery has offered a wide variety of original paintings over the years; if you would like to commission a particular size or subject matter please get in touch.
