About the artist

Mark Spain had a strong interest in art from a young age. Once finishing school he attended Medway College of Art where he trained in technical graphics. On graduating, he set up his own print studio in Kent where he produced original etchings and collographs. Mark has exhibited his figurative,...

Mark has exhibited his figurative, abstract and landscape works extensively across the UK. Exhibitions and shows include the 20th Century British Art Fair, Chelsea and Hampton Court Show and the Barbican Contemporary Print Fair. Over time, the artist began to experiment with different forms of imagery and explored a wider range of media.

Mark’s figurative oil paintings were extremely well received, and he was quickly signed to one of the UK’s leading publishing houses. His first Limited Edition release sold out in record time. As a result the Fine Art Trade Guild awarded him the Award for Best Up and Coming Artist. His work now hangs in galleries and private collections as far afield as Japan, New Zealand, Canada and USA.

The artist continues to experiment with different techniques and subjects, recently incorporating cityscapes into his figurative works. His main goals are to create movement within works, placing particular emphasis on setting mood and atmosphere. This ambition is certainly evident within his unique work.

UK DELIVERY
Free insured delivery via courier on all orders over £250, typically within 5 working days. If framing is required please allow 10–14 days. You will receive order confirmation and tracking details once booked — if you need delivery on a specific day please note this at checkout.

Some large artworks under glass may require a specialist courier and are excluded from the free delivery offer; we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Express delivery and professional installation are available in some areas — please get in touch to arrange. Please note that all dimensions are approximate and rounded to the nearest inch.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We deliver artworks worldwide. For the majority of countries shipping charges will be applied automatically at checkout. If you are outside of these regions you may still purchase online and we will contact you with a competitive quotation for delivery to your country. Alternatively please get in touch for a quotation prior to purchase.

RETURNS
For your peace of mind, we offer an extended 30 day returns option for any online purchase. We suggest you retain the original packaging if you are considering this option as we reserve the right to deduct any damage which occurs during return transit. Once we have received the return it will be checked and a refund will be issued less the return postage costs.

Home Viewing Options +

For those living close to our galleries we offer a Home Viewing Service – this is available within a 10–15 mile radius – please get in touch with us to confirm availability.

Alternatively, and for those further afield, we offer a Home Approval Service which allows you to borrow an artwork for up to 7 days. To take advantage of either of these services please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

INTEREST FREE FINANCE
